From an ugly duckling to a proud swan

In the heart of Vienna at Kohlmarkt and Graben, there are the motifs of Art Nouveau and classical motifs on facades distinguished. Unfortunately, an ugly interior is often hidden behind a beautiful façade.

Kohlmarkt represents the places where different architectural styles meet that have been changed over the years. It gives Kohlmarkt a special touch. However, when observing the interior, a different picture is obtained, and the expectations are very often not fulfilled.

The task of MS architecture & inteior design was to create a harmonious interior concept with high-end products.

The façade motifs on Kohlmarkt illustrate a historical story and offer a journey through history. The client was thus convinced to rent office premises.

The interior is featured by the materials of high quality as Grand Versailles floor made of 150 years old oak wood, then the stucco work on the walls and ceiling of the prestigious conference hall, including complete renovation of all doors and panelling. The law firm office located in the space of 1.500 m² consists of 37 office rooms, as well as of two kitchens and a library with a splendid reception desk at the entrance from the lift.
